Hoy se celebra el 20 aniversario de la franquicia de videojuegos PlayStation.

PlayStation es una videoconsola de sobremesa de 32 Bits que fué lanzada por Sony Computer Entertaiment (3 de diciempre de 1994 en Japón y el 9 de septiembre de 1995 en Estados Unidos). Fué la pionera en utilizar un sistema de soporte de almacenamiento  en los CD-ROM  para sus videojuegos, sin tener que usar los cartuchos que se solían utilizar en la mayoría de las videoconsolas.

Con motivo a este aniversario, Sony ha hecho una entrevista a más de 10.000 jugadores de videojuegos ("Gamers") sobre sus juegos favoritos de esta franquicia, y nos han llegado el top 20 de cada tipo de videojuegos que podéis ver un poco más abajo.
